Veterinary Public Health Association Nepal, sister organization of Nepal Veterinary Association (NVA) is host organization of this conference. NVA is the parent organization of Nepalese veterinarians and was established 56 years back. NVA has rich experience of holding many national and international seminar and symposium. However, this will be a new experience of VPHAN.

Host Country and Place

The conference will be held at Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. Nepal is a landlocked country between India in east, north and south and China in the north.

Indian citizens are not required to obtain visa for  visa for visitng Nepal. Some nationalities are provided with on arrival visa and some has to get visa before travelling to Nepal. All visa related queries can be found at www.immigration.gov.np while we, the organizer, are always at the desk for any kind of facilitation. Upon request organizer can send the visa request letter on one-to-one basis.

All passengers travelling to Nepal by air or land route no longer require a fully vaccinated proof of certificate OR negative PCR test report of COVID-19.

Tribhuvan International Airport at Kathmandu, Gautam Buddha International Airport (GBIA) at Bhairahawa and Pokhara International Airport at Pokhara are three international airports  of Nepal though most of the international flights (99 % and above) operate only from TIA (Tribhuvan International Airport). Indian citizens can catch local flight to TIA after entering to Nepal from any of the airports viz., Dhangadi, Nepalgunj, Bhairahawa, Bharatpur, Simra, Janakpur, Biratnagar, Bhadrapur.

Weather during the conference:

The average daily temperatures are around 23°C (73°F), reaching highs of 26°C (79°F) and dropping to an average minimum temperature of 19°C (66°F). This month is considered one of the best time to visit the city.
